Alexandra Oatham

Alex joined SAN in November 2021 as Institutional Relations Manager. She is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of grants from foundations, bi-lateral and multi-lateral donors, and corporations.

Alex has over a decade of experience in business development, fundraising strategy and partnership management for international development and environment projects.

Prior to joining SAN she worked at UK NGO, Excellent Development, where she has a track record of securing institutional funding for their rural water and food security programmes in Sub Saharan Africa. During her tenure at Excellent Development, she also worked directly with partners in Kenya, Zimbabwe and Malawi to support the development of new programmes.

Alex has Masters degree in International Relations from the University of Bristol and currently lives with her family in Berlin.
